This week Joe discusses the controversial world of Reparative Therapy, which is sexual conversion attempts to turn people from gay to straight. His guest is Larry Jamison, a writer, educator and activist, who has spent ten years exploring ex-gay ministry and reparative therapy. Larry wants people to understand why someone might choose to do sexual conversion therapy and that it’s not about ‘crazy’ people, but very vulnerable people trying to get help. “There’s nothing good about going to war with your sexuality,” says Larry.
